International students get a reserved priority lane for rooms
DUWO reserves 50% of rooms coming free in designated complexes for newly-arrived international students - a lane that skips the multi-year general queue - and you get a campus contract lasting through your studies plus 6 months after. Register once on ROOM.nl (one fee, ~50,000 rooms across DUWO, SSH, Idealis and others) and apply to the DUWO international priority from 1 May. You must prove you lived abroad in the last 3 months; the intake is seasonal (contracts starting June-September).
