Report a bad or overcharging landlord to the city - free
Since 1 July 2023 every municipality must run a meldpunt where you can report a landlord or agent for discrimination, intimidation, illegal fees or deposit abuse. Landlords must use a fair, non-discriminatory selection procedure, may not intimidate you (e.g. threaten to cut power or end the lease), must put the agreement in writing, and must give you the meldpunt details - the city can act and fine. Search '[your city] meldpunt goed verhuurderschap.' For the rent PRICE itself the route is still the Huurcommissie.
