Finish your HAVO/VWO/VMBO from home, one subject at a time, no school required
Never finished Dutch secondary school? Sit the staatsexamen as a private candidate: self-study, then take the exact same central exam school pupils sit in May/June. You do NOT have to pass everything in one year - each subject you pass gives a certificate valid 10 years, and enough certificates make a full, legally identical diploma. How: register at DUO between 15 October and 31 December for the next year. Cost: 144 eur per subject (71 if only an oral/practical exam), capped at 720 eur/year. Central exams run once a year.
