Too old for a student grant? Borrow up to ~13,470 eur/year to study anyway
The Levenlanglerenkrediet is a low-interest government loan from DUO that pays your tuition for an accredited hbo, university or full-time mbo programme, even if you no longer qualify for regular study finance. Max 2026-2027: 13,470 eur/year (hbo/university) or 7,555 eur (mbo), paid monthly. You must be 30 to 56; EU/EEA/Swiss and permit holders qualify. It is a loan you repay (up to 35 years) and only covers tuition you actually pay.
