Only mention nationality when it actually matters
Nationality is not a standard field on a Dutch CV. It is worth stating only when it bears on your right to work, for example when you are a non-EU applicant and want to be clear about whether you need sponsorship. Otherwise leave it out.

- Name a gap yourself in one line, rather than letting them wonder
- A motivation letter is usually expected, especially early in your career
- Write your CV in the language the vacancy is written in
- Two A4 pages maximum, and one page is fine
- Leave out marital status, and you can leave out your date of birth
- A photo is optional, and leaving it off is normal
