Cannot pay your premium? Zorgverzekeringslijn keeps you insured and stops the 120% spiral
Almost nobody knows this exists: a free, independent (government-backed) helpline for health-insurance money trouble. The key trick - arranging a payment plan with your insurer pauses the CAK registration, so you pay your normal premium plus a repayment bit instead of the punitive 120% rate. And even if you are behind, you stay insured for care. Call 0800-6464644 (free) or zorgverzekeringslijn.nl, and contact your insurer early to set up the plan before the CAK takes over.
