Gemeentepolis: the low-income insurance where the town co-pays your own-risk
Many municipalities run a collective health policy (gemeentepolis) with an insurer: cheaper premium, a broad add-on package (often dental and physio), and in many towns the 385 eur eigen risico is insured away or set to zero - no surprise bills. Search '[your gemeente] gemeentepolis' or gezondverzekerd.nl and apply through your municipality, which subsidises part of the premium. Income cap varies by gemeente (often up to 110-130% of the social minimum); compare against a normal policy, it usually wins for heavy care users.
