How many paid holiday days you are legally owed

The legal minimum is four times the number of hours you work in a week, per year, and your employer keeps paying your wage while you take them. If you work 25 hours a week you are owed 100 hours of paid holiday a year. Full time at 40 hours a week, that is 160 hours, about four weeks. This applies on a temporary contract and on an on-call contract too, in proportion to the hours you work.
